In this moment of flood, death and losses; fellow Nigerians, I wish to remind us thus:
There was this certain king from a remote part of a kingdom who sent his son to study abroad, dominated by d western life his son on his arrival gave his father a riffle (gun) as a gift. one nite his father went wt his servant 2 hunt, on sighting an antelope d king positioned his riffle & most unfortunately place his finger on the barrel which is d only exit for d bullet to come out & he pull d trigger. d bullet shop off his finger & his servant gathered leaves & roots to stop d bleeding and in a low voice told his Master "sorry sir, pls don't be so upset, d scripture said in all things give thanks for it is d will of God concerning you. at once, his master screamed wit announce & strangle d servant & throw him into d pit in dt thick forest. soon, the king departed d place only to encounter another set of hunters that had come to hunt no antelope but for a human being for sacrifice of new year festival unto their gods. & they captured the king, took him to their town square and in d next morning after some enough celebrations brought him out to kill him for their gods. as they priest of the idol lifted up his hand to kill him, the idol screamed "i do not eat what is half cut" meaning dt d king is not full human due to his cut fingers. then they released him & asked him to go. there and then he remembered the words of his servant"in all things give thanks for it is the will of God concerning you. he ran and tore his cloths, use them & create a rope, then lowered it for his servant and brought him out of the thick dark pit. i knelt to plead to the servant & his servant knelt before him and repeated"in all things give thanks for it is d will of God concerning you". and the servant added, sir if you and i had been captured & they leave you because of the cut, they wouldn't have leave me as well. again, king realized the word of God & praised God. Fellow Nigerians, let us thank God instead & not cry like those whose life depend on our own hands. people should stop committing suicide and abandoning their children & family. be courageous and have faith in God. there's a way even in the wilderness God will make that way.
